On 6/8/09 Wanda James said... I found Mr. Louis P. Sampoli to be very honest. I am a 73 year old widow and thought it best to put my affairs into a Power of Attorney to my nephew and his wife. However, after speaking for a bit, Mr. Sampoli sent my nephew and his wife out of the conference room, then told me that he felt uncomfortable doing a Power of Attorney for me because he felt that regardless of my age - I seemed to be able to conduct my own affairs myself without the need for assistance. He said that if the situation changed further down the road - he would be glad to assist me - but at the time I met with him - he said he would rather not. Mr. Sampoli could have easily taken my money - but instead - he helped not to make a huge mistake in which I could have lost everything. Instead he was honest with me and made a choice in my better interest over his own.
